NAKANO YUSUKE
Born 1991, Fushimi in Kyoto, Japan.
I graduated from Doshisha University, Faculty of Law. After working for an advertising agency, managing a tutoring school, launching a new service with an app, working for a town development company, and launching and managing a whisky-related service, I decided to work in this industry because I saw great potential in Japanese alcohol, and above all because I love whisky, Japanese sake, wine, shochu, gin and awamori.

Celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2019, the Doreau barrels mill is located in the heart of the Cognac region, the birthplace of our story that began in 1989, and is deeply attached to this land. Through the production of their barrels, they continue to preserve the skills of traditional barrel makers.
